1. Everyone needs coaching
Added by: Monre Botes  |  Date: 03 November 2011
I was totally stunned the other day while facilitating Awareness Coaching for one of our clients. We've trained about 200 of their learners up until now. What amazes me is how many of these 200 learners are in desperate need for coaching! I could easily say at least 70% as a wild guess. Some desire new direction in life; others battle with past happenings which prevents them from moving forward. Quite a number have difficulty in relationships and so many more battle with anger, resentmen ...more

I was exposed to the art of persuasive and communicative business wri ...more

4. Thank You, Bob!
  Added by: Traci-Ann Cripsey  |  Date: 08 February 2011
On Tuesday last week, somebody asked me for my ID number, the reasons for which will remain with the Traffic Department, thank you very much! I rattled off the 13 digits without pausing for breath, nor thought. On Wednesday, somebody else (not the JMPD!) asked me, “Who are you?”. Without hesitation, I replied “My name is Traci, I’m a trainer, I’m a single mother with a small child and I live in Johannesburg.” “That’s not what I asked,” responded the non-Traf ...more

5. The good in abstinence
Added by: Monre Botes  |  Date: 02 December 2010
The Good in Abstinence These days in South Africa, if a message of abstinence appears on local television, most citizens naturally relate it to sex for the predominant purpose of preventing HIV. We also easily relate abstinence to alcohol or certain obvious habits causing one a desirable betterment of current state of being. After speaking to a friend of mine I thought a ...more
